Translated Information

Doctors of the World have updated the translated coronavirus guidance to reflect the changes made regarding the lock down rules for the whole population in the UK. This new version (version 3 -24.03.2020) is ready in English and 28 other languages at the moment, and remaining languages will be updated very soon. Please find them at www.doctorsoftheworld.org.uk/coronavirus-information

In total, the guidance is now translated into 36 languages to reach out diverse communities in the UK, with more languages coming! A link to these resources is also put on the UK Government website: www.gov.uk/nhs-entitlements-migrant-health-guide

UK Government has translated some of its guidance into 11 languages: www.gov.uk/guidance-on-shielding-and-protecting-extremely-vulnerable-persons-from-covid-19

The Irish health service has produced in 20 languages, which includes a 16-page information booklet and posters. The resources all direct patients to the Irish health services, so of limited use for those of us working in the UK, but they may be helpful for some patients/service users to understand symptoms and prevention measures better: www.hse.ie/covid-19-translated-resources
